Have you ever tried to open a coconut?

There’s no tool for it in the nuts section of the grocery store. There’s really no tool in your kitchen that was exclusively designed to effectively open it. In fact, it may be one thing in nature which seems its entire purpose is to NOT be opened.

Landing on a creative idea isn’t so different.

You toss it up in the air and let it land...

...throw it against a wall...

...hit it with a blunt object...

...scratch at it with a sharp object...

...really anything that comes to mind until

that moment when, crack! you hit it.

Then the creative juices come pouring out.

Well, at least that’s the way it works for us.
